Learn to Show your horse on the Line! July 12th 2009
Have you always wondered how to get involved in showing your horse on the line? How to present them? Grooming tips and how-to's? Exercises to practice at home? Show Rules and expectations? Join us to find out!

Join us at Braecrest Stables on July 12th for a fun and informative clinic with Claire Hunter about showing on the line. We will cover everything from preparation to do at home, show ring rules and etiquette, grooming and presentation, problem solving, and anything else you have questions about! This will be a wonderful day to bring out your horse in a zero pressure atmosphere to participate in a mock show with other horses, and learn how to make it the best and safest experience for yourself and your horse. Broodmares and foals, stallions, and everything in between are welcome!
We will have an excellent barbecue lunch provided for participants and auditors, included in the day fee.

When: Sunday July 12th, 11am-4pm, hour break at lunch.

Participants with a horse: $150
Auditing: $50

Limited day stalls are available, and all horses must have proof of vaccines within the last 6months including flu/rhino.

Outline of day schedule:
11am: In hand work, manners, patience, exercises to do at home in preparation etc
12pm: Show ring routine, 'how to', judge expectations, etiquette etc
1pm: Lunch break and 'chat with Claire'
2pm: Grooming - tips, how to's, braiding, nutrition for optimal body condition
3pm: Mock Show and Problem Solving
