Event Description

In Classical Equitation the Work In Hand is much more than long lining, it is precise movements and a series of flexions that are done in a specific way to ensure the horse's balance and mobility in the joints. You can think of this as Yog for your horse - for without flexibility in the joints, good movement and balance is impossible. Lungework is only done after the Work in Hand has given you the basic controls to move on, as the horse has to understand the releases, before you can have effective lunging.
