C.O.L.T. = "Chance of a Life Time"

Our newly formed program is located in Caseyville, IL at Deco Farms Helping the financially distressed horse owners as  well as riders who can no longer afford the expense of horse ownership.

Riders,

COLT currently has 4 horses needing talented riders, each rider will be assigned a horse that will benefit from the riders experience.  Each rider will be in a lesson program 5 days per week, riders will be responsible for all the usual care and management of the assigned horse ( just like self care board ) all of which is at NO COST to the rider.  Riders will have to "try out" for a spot in this program. 

The rider benefits in two ways, 1. Absolutely no cost  2. The rider will recieve a commission upon the sale of the horse, or if situation presents itself, the rider can "buy like board"

Horses,

Financially distressed horse owners will have another venue of selling their horse...The SELECTED horse (s) will be on a consignment basis at Deco Farms, again at no cost to the owner until horse is sold. Then, all expenses incurred by DF will be deducted and the owner will pay a 20% commission to the farm. 

In closing, this is NOT a Rescue, the horses/riders selected will be limited due to space and keeping the program 100% successful. We are very selective on the horses we decide to add to the prorgram, all of which have to meet certain criteria - the same goes to the riders selected. 

Currently we have a 4th lvl Dressage gelding.  TB gelding Hunter/Jumper.  Mare starting in dressage with great promise, and a Equitation mare.
