Yesterday and today, we had a spammer here who was sending messages to many of our members.

We banned the spammer within minutes and all of their content was deleted.

Barnmice is a very closely watched community, and we are very fortunate that spammers are few and far between. That being said, I do want to remind everyone here of a few safety rules.

1. NEVER give out your private contact information to anyone you do not know personally - here or in any social community.

2. If you are contacted by a member with any sort of inappropriate message, please let us know via Feedback or Report an Issue (located at the bottom of every Barnmice page)and we will receive your message and immediately respond.

3. Please do not click on links for any emails or websites that you do not trust.

Our Barnmice team is obsessed with keeping our community one of the friendliest and most enjoyable horse communities in the world. A quick browse through our thousands of discussions, blogs, photos and groups reflects the extraordinarily positive neighborhood you have helped us create.

We want to assure you that we take spam very seriously will continue to do everything possible to keep spammers out - and to immediately ban any that on rare occasion get in. We also want to thank those members who have taken the time to report this latest spammer and apologize for any inconvenience and irritation this may have caused.
