Blixa! 8Yo Reg Oldenburger Gelding Dressage Prospect - first ridden at age 8

Blixa is a tall, gorgeous, well bred incredible gentleman. Blixa's owner bred his dam to have a foal that would be her horse for life. When Blixa was 5 and ready to start training in earnest, his owner was too ill to do so, and eventually passed away. The daughter inherited the horse, and had her barn owner start him under saddle, but could not afford to keep him so she donated him to our nonprofit.

Blixa is a gorgeous mover, with great natural carriage at liberty, and he is just barely starting to figure out how to carry himself under a rider. Enjoy the videos from his webpage of his first week riding here at CWER.

This gentleman was clearly worshiped and adored, and likewise worshiped his owner. He has incredible gentlemanly manners in nearly all circumstances, even when scared or worried.

We feel his adoption fee is incredibly fair at $3,500 -- given that full siblings sold with no saddle training one for $5k and one for $10k (this one when the economy was better!) and we are told both are excelling in the dressage arena. His bloodlines are also right for eventing and show jumpers.
