Over the years I have been using horse manure for my garden. Horse poo being a good source of nutrients, helps me with inexpensive and suitable fertilizer. But they are not supposed to be used directly or when fresh, thus I compost and simply toss it into the garden and work it into the soil. In the recent past I was mulling over the option of adding organic waste(as a safe disposal method) along with the horse poo in my compost bin. This article that I happened to read says organic waste is very good for garden soil http://www.redbins.ca/3-ways-get-rid-organic-waste/ . I would like to get professional guidance as to whether it is possible to compost horse poo along with the organic waste. Any stipulation on the proportion of both to be maintained. I guess it is absolutely fine considering the fact that horse poo is very hot and cannot be used directly or when fresh. All suggestions are welcome.

Seems intersting because an average horse produces between 60 to 70 pounds of stall waste per day. So if one can utilise them in some way. it would be useful. Would like to know if I can convert orgaic waste to some form of energy
