Hi everyone, my name is Aoede. I'm new to the forums, and wanted to introduce myself and my blog. I'm a 29 year old Eventing working student in Aiken, SC. I'm passionate about a career as an Eventer and trainer, and found that being a working student is the best way for me to get there.

Since being a working student wasn't something I knew about when I was younger, I did a lot of other things for a career before resolving to make it really work with horses. I write my blog so people who are thinking about becoming a working student themselves, or are just beginning their Eventing life, can learn more about what it's like and hopefully find some courage and inspiration for following the path they choose.
