hello, I bought an ex-stud 4 months ago, absolutly love him to death already. He was gelded in 2003, and is 13 years old, so was a stud for 6 years, and was a breeding animal. I have soon learned almost all his past since he came to Canada. Awesome horse trainers, awesome families, and only one person didn't like him (he was to laid back, and she had too hot of a temper). Everyone loves this horse.

now, my question is he is SUPER funny, so much character, loves to be friends with EVERYTHING, nothing super spooks him, and he does everything I ask him too, super cuddly, and respectful. Now I have met other ex-studs that are the same way..and just wondering does it have to do with them being gelded later in life, and finaly enjoying the human attention, or is just all character and I have just spotted out the ex-studs that remind me of my boy..
