After over 1/4 Century working with horse lovers in designing and building Horse Shelter (AKA Barns), I still find many who have a desire to build and confine a horse in a "People Friendly Barn"

Unfortunately we and the horse have different comfort needs.

Since the equine evolved on the Steppes of Asia we are in the custody of an animal who thrives in cool weather (35-60 degrees F) and is sensitive to stale air

When you are designing your next facility, keep Ventilation a paramount issue and the more that Ventilation is natural the better it is for the health of your horse.

You may have to dress a bit warmer, but that is much less expensive than vet bills.

I want to share this resource regarding Ventilation.
