I live in Central Ontario and wonder if there is anyway of heating a water pail or bucket outside in the winter without using electricity. Is there such a thing and if so where can it be located?

You can build your own solar collecter if you are handy with tools.
There is a web site from the uk with instructions and photos. Plus other sites that may help.
www.reuk.co.uk
Or just google build your own solar heater, cost will be around $800 depending on parts required
Thanks for that! I shall take a look!
there are these floating heaters you can put in water troughs that float in the water and heat it up. they aren't that expensive, but there are probably cheaper options out there that i can't think of.
good luck!
Hi Leah: Where can you get the floating heaters? Are they totally without electricity? Would love to know. I live in Ontario. Where are you from? Hope it is close to be able to find them. Gail.
