Review of Rider 6 and Instructor
Stable Management topics on:


Saturday May 8th from 2 - 6pm
Sunday May 9th from 2 - 6pm
(practice day for skills learned on Sat)

At: Manoravon Farm, 7909 Speedvale Ave E., Guelph.
Group Special: $60
(private tutoring available by appointment $100 /3hrs)

Topics will include:
• Safe horse handling
• Keeping the Stable clean, Fire Safety and reducing fire hazards
• Checking your riders helmets & safe riding attire
• Correct fitting of tack including: breastplates, martingales, saddles, boots, polos...
• The action of bits & points to consider when choosing a bit
• Basic nutrition and good feeding practices
• Horse Health and early warning signs
• Spotting lameness
• First Aid Kits
• Wounds and treatments
• How to take temperature, pulse and respiration
• Pulling a mane and turn out for rider exams
