Should I run his tat, or not?

I'm debating running my TB's tat through the Jockey Club database. I intend to show him next year, and need a name. I've thought of a few I like, but should he have his registered name? I'm terrified it'll be something insipid and inappropriate. I know there are some OTTB owners out there. How many of you ran the tat?
