Hello all fans of Baroque horses:

I am arranging a group trip to Portugal in May to study at Luis Valenca's facility in Vila Franca di Xira. (north of Lisbon about 45 minutes)  We will be taking lessons with his daughter Sofia on schoolmaster Lusitano stallions.  All of the stallions are very well behaved and very highly trained.

The price of the trip includes:

9 semi private lessons with Sofia

5 nights in a B&B close-by (we will have to add a 6th day because most of us will be arriving on the Sunday for lessons Monday morning)

A trip to Lisbon for dinner and a Fado performance

A trip to the Portuguese School of Equestrian Arte (Luis Valenca was once the director of the school).  The trip will include a guided tour by one of the riders and a performance.

A trip to a bull breeding farm

A trip to a Lusitano breeding farm.

Group size is limited to 8.

This trip is appropriate for riders of all ability levels.
