Hi,

I was able to locate tickets for the games but I don't understand how the stadium is set up for the best seats.

I only want to attend the last 2 days of the jumping finals.

Anyone know which seats are best?

Thanks, Linda

SoftStall is the official supplier for flooring and matting for WEG! The Flexi-Grid product will be used in the stalls to keep the horses off the concrete.
SoftStall will also be available to rent for your stalls!

I was checking the Ticketmaster site for available tickets ... seems there are still some available even for the Opening Ceremonies. So expensive ... even though it would be (for me) and once-in-a-lifetime event, not sure whether I can afford it.

Checking out the accommation availability now ... unfortunately, no friends in that area.

we will be booking the flight and tickets after Jan 11- for at least 4 days of dressage.
I am so looking forward to this- I have not been to a big venue since the WEG in 1995 in LA. Then my most favorite horse- of that era, Aktion was there

Hi Folks,

I'm interested in talking with folks about travelling to WEG ... and what you've done to book tickets, accommodations, etc.

Sharon, sent you a friend request so I could message you directly!

I am a little disheartened with the games. I have been anxiously awaiting for the tickets to go on sale for 3 years. When I learned the price of the tickets, I just about cried. Thankfully, my mother in law offered to pay for the tickets for her, my sister in law and myself. The effort it took to purchase said tickets at 12 noon on Sept. 25, was incredible. Every class had to be done seperately. I won't tell you what the total of that was. Ouch. Then, to get a hotel has been a full time job. I finally found one quite a ways away. The hotel prices close to Lexington are outrageous and pretty much non existent. I am not rich. I just love horses. It is starting to look like a gouge fest. Everything seems like a huge effort to do anything. I'm almost wishing we hadn't bought the tickets. I hope it's worth it.

There is a facebook question: about what ppl are doing to make plans for the games?
-I am dying to attend the Oct. 2 (sat) cross country event, I am looking at hotels, I can't book until exactly a year before it starts!
