Star in the new 2013 Donkey A Day calendar

International animal welfare charity The Donkey Sanctuary has today issued a plea for photographers to submit their favourite donkey photographs for inclusion in their 2013 Donkey A Day calendar.

The Donkey A Day calendar will feature donkey-related photos and stories from around the world and will celebrate heart-warming, funny and nostalgic donkey images.

Mark Cross of The Donkey Sanctuary says: “All you have to do is send us your favourite donkey photograph along with a few words that tell the story behind the picture. Your photograph could be: an old picture with special memories like that first beach donkey ride; a visit to one of our Sanctuaries; someone running a marathon in a donkey costume; or simply a special donkey friend. You can even suggest the preferred date you would like your photo to appear on and wherever possible we will match it up.”

To enter a photo, log on to www.thedonkeysanctuary.org.uk and click on the Photo Competition. Entries should be received by 30th June 2012 and the finished limited edition Donkey A Day calendar will be released in Autumn 2012.
