The Netherlands' Jeroen Dubbeldam has emphatically grabbed the World Championship title going clear on all four horses during the final four competition that closed the Alltech World Equestrian Games in Normandy.
Patrice Delaveau carrying the flag of the host nation just missed the gold by one time fault, while Beezie Madden of the U.S. earned the bronze having poles down on three of the four horses. Rolf-Goran Bengtsson (Sweden) had unfortunate time faults as well as rails to end in fourth place.
Madden's horse, Cortes 'C' went clear with all four riders.
More details to follow.
