American Shetland Pony Club & American Miniature Horse Registry Offering Membership Incentive and Credit
Morton, IL – Join the American Shetland Pony Club, Inc., (ASPC) & American Miniature Horse Registry (AMHR) today and earn $20!
The ASPC, one of the oldest equine breed registries in the United States, is offering a unique incentive toward its 2012 memberships. Eligible new memberships and renewals will receive a $20 credit that may be used toward work with the association. A membership to the American Shetland Pony Club, Inc., includes the Shetland registry, the American Miniature Horse Registry, the American Show Pony Registry and the National Show Pony Registry.
The $20 credit is being granted to all 2012 first (i.e., primary) memberships within a household. The incentive extends to all members who have already renewed or joined for 2012. It will apply to all new memberships or renewals that are received by July 1 as well.
This one-time offer essentially reduces primary memberships to their pre-2008 prices. This tremendous offer comes by action of the organization’s national board at its recent spring board meeting.
“In today’s tough economy, it’s time to be proactive with what we can do for our membership,” said Joe Schroeter, Director of Finance with the ASPC. “We hope the offer will entice some members who have not renewed in recent years to join again.”
This membership incentive closely follows the organization’s promotion offering half off on the cost of hardship registrations in its Miniature Horse division. That offer – only three-months old — has already increased business for the association.
“AMHR’s hardship sale has allowed more horses to enter our registry,” noted Schroeter. “We think the membership credit and incentive can help increase our membership in a similar fashion.”
To take advantage of the membership sale, individuals should renew or join by July 1. Information for renewing can be found on the ASPC/AMHR/ASPR website at www.shetlandminiature.com. Click the “Member Services” option in the main menu bar and then select the “member forms” option in that menu. Membership information is under “member forms” in the “Member Services” menu.
