Appaloosa Horse Club Announces New Youth Marketing and Journalism Internship Program
MOSCOW, Idaho - The Appaloosa Horse Club (ApHC) is pleased to announce a new and exciting opportunity for our youth members. The ApHC is rolling out a new internship program for AYA members ages 14-19. This internship program will be under the direction of the ApHC Marketing Department and Appaloosa Journal.
The program goal is to provide our youth members the opportunity to pursue their interests in marketing, public relations, photography and journalism. Participants will receive a certificate of completion and letter of recognition they can refer to on their college applications, scholarship applications and resumes.
Each intern (during the internship cycle) will be listed on the Appaloosa Youth Association web site with a photo and short biography. Interns will be identified on any materials used by the ApHC and/or Appaloosa Journal.
We are offering three remote, unpaid, online marketing and journalism internship sessions: Spring (January-May), Summer (May-August) and Fall (August-December).
Deadlines for Applying:
March 15 – Extended to May 1 for the 2013 Summer Internship (May-August)
July 15 for the Fall Internship (September-December)
September 15 for the Spring Internship (January-April)
To apply, interested youth should submit a resume, cover letter and a media sample (examples: video, photography, essay) and a one paragraph biography along with a photo of themselves to:
