The Mitusbishi Motors Badminton draw for starting order was held Wednesday, and Oliver Townend will lead-off the competition on the cross-country course.  Townend will choose between three different mounts in the number one spot, while his second horse will start very near the end of the order.

There are quite a number of wait listed riders included in the roster which means that the actual start order could change quite a bit if many horses are scratched.  Horse and Hound reports that so far this year, there have been few scratches to allow wait-listed riders in while in the past few years as many as 30 or 40 were allowed in.

The first North American rider, Canada's Hawley Bennett-Awad has drawn 55th position while Buck Davidson (USA) drew #67, Kristin Schmolze (USA) has #70, Jennifer Wooten (USA) is right behind in 73, and Selena O'Hanlon (Can) holds 79th.  Stephanie Rhodes-Bosche (CAN) is further down in 93rd and Karen O'Connor (USA) drew #97.
