Canadian Olympian, Belinda Trussell and her mount, Anton, had a fantastic show at Horses and Dreams Hagen CDI 4 * on the weekend, earning 70.085% in the Grand Prix for Special and 70.417% in the Grand Prix Special, placing them 11th for both tests in the second leg of their European competition tour this spring.

Hagen is considered a world-class show and welcomed 63,000 spectators from around the world during its five days.

“The horses were sensational.” Belinda noted. “The competition is so tough and so inspiring. Anton was very hot the first few days of the show. There was a lot of atmosphere and it was our first outdoor show this year. He was excellent in the Grand Prix, and he was a little tired in the Special. I think I worked him a little too much the first few days because he was so fresh, but it was too much because he did feel tired in the Special. He was very obedient and we rode a nice clean test.”
