Wellington, FL - Olympic Silver Medalist, Peter Leone, joined Kimberly S. Jaussi, Ph.D. at a workshop, "Leadership, Vision and the Equestrian Athlete" at College Preparatory Invitational (CPI) at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center on Saturday, January 14, 2012. Interested young equestrians gathered around the two presenters as they shared their experiences, answered questions and offered advice.
On the topic of leadership, Leone urged the group to, "Lead by example, practice a strong work ethic: work hard and practice good horsemanship. Make it a habit to do things correctly. Commit to doing your best and have confidence in your ability to win."
Jaussi pointed out that, like corporate brands, people create a brand around their behavior and what sets a person apart from others. She urged the attendees to look inward.
"What is your brand? Who are you really inside? How can you be true to who you are?" probed Jaussi. "Know who you are and what differentiates you from others and be true to yourself," Jaussi advised, "When you understand your brand you can build on top of that."

After the workshop Leone autographed the DVD, Ride the Body: Select Insights of Peter Leone that he produced with Jaussi. The informative and practical DVD was awarded to all the first place winners at the CPI.
"I thought the workshop was really helpful. We're always looking to get insight from people we look up to. It's always good to hear that you can follow your dreams," said Kendall Pedigo, a CPI competitor from Vancouver, WA.
Leone and Jaussi also co-authored the upcoming book, Peter Leone's Show Jumping Clinic: Success Strategies for Equestrian Athletes(Storey Publishing), which is poised to hit the shelves in spring of 2012.
