Colorado Officials Indicate New EHV-1 Cases in the State
Colorado officials have indicated that six additional horses located in four counties are suspected of having the EHV-1 virus.
The two original cases were located in Weld County. One of those horses was euthanized while the second is improving.
The Greeley Tribute reports that six additional horses, located in Boulder, Larimer, and Mesa Counties, as well as a new case in Weld county, are suspected of having the disease.
Test confirmation is pending.
