Dead Horses Dumped over Cliff poses Unsolved Problem for Authorities in New South Wales

The Daily Telegraph (news.com.au) is reporting that the bodies of 25 dead horses have been found, dumped over a cliff, near Glen Innes, NSW.

An anonymous report led authorities to the site where 25 small horses' bodies were found, most of them "in a heap."

A veterinarian could find no obvious cause of death and the animals did not appear starved or otherwise abused.

The local inspector told News.com.au:

"It's a mystery how they died. It's a mystery where they came from. It's a very strange case."
