Denis Lynch, who has been among the top show jumping riders in the world, has started another successful venture:  raising funds for  abandoned and neglected horses in Ireland.  

The plight of many horses in Ireland which have suffered during the economic crisis in the country has struck many people around the world.

Lynch was inspired to help when many people, distressed regarding the appalling news reports about the condition of horses in Ireland, approached him wanting to contribute.  

Lynch has set up an account in Germany which sends the contributions directly to the Irish SPCA.
