“The United States Dressage Federation has more that 14,000 recorded adult amateurs and this new competition has generated a great deal of interest throughout North America and Europe. We are very pleased to be able to offer this option at our 40^th Anniversary show” said Lori Kaminski, President and CEO of Dressage at Devon.

 

DAD will offer FEI Prix St. Georges and FEI Intermediate I classes for the FEI Amateur Division. On Sunday afternoon, DAD will offer a National level FEI Test of Choice. This class is not part of the CDI.

 

To qualify:

-       Riders must be 26 years old;
- Riders must have no ranking with the FEI Dressage World Ranking List at the date of definite entry;

-       Athletes living abroad may compete in Events of their Host;

-       An FEI Passport is not required for horses competing in their home country, but must be registered with their national federation, be identifiable by diagram and have a valid vaccination certificate.

 

Horses entered in CDI-Am classes must follow the same procedures applied to open CDIs and are required to undergo a veterinary check and be stabled in restricted-access CDI stalls.
