2013 Dressage Officials Bursaries Announced

Ottawa, Ontario --- The Officials Committee is pleased to announce the names of the recipients of the 2013 Dressage Officials Bursaries.

This new program recognizes the commitment and expense required by national dressage officials to maintain their status and continue their education. The monetary grant, of $300 each, is designed to assist dressage officials in pursuing their dressage goals.

Congratulations to the following recipients

* Margaret Boyce / Emerson, NJ / dressage judge,
* Winona Hartvikson / Langley, BC / dressage judge,
* Kirstin Skinner-Boyd / Windsor, ON / dressage judge, and
* Kim Fortin / Aylesford, NS / dressage steward.

"Best wishes to these officials as they pursue their educational projects," said Joan Macartney, chair of the Dressage Canada Officials Committee.

Dressage Canada hopes to offer this program again in 2014. Details on the program, including application deadlines, will be posted and communicated on the Dressage Canada website and through the Officials Post newsletter.
