The Ohio Fire Marshall's office has ruled the April 24th fire that killed eight horses including a foal and pregnant mare to be arson. The barn had been vandalized with anti-gay slurs, The Gay People's Chronicle reports.
The fire took only five minutes to burn the barn to the ground, while owner Brent Whitehouse did all he could to get the doors open to save his animals. The fire was so hot that a tractor inside melted.
