The Finals for the 2011 Spy Coast Farm Young Horse Show Series will be held this Friday, December 9, at 6:30 p.m. It will be an exciting evening where young horses will show what they are made of through a series of two classes. In addition to the finals classes, a Stallion Show will run on Friday night as well in the International Arena.

The first finals class will be Suitability for Sport in Hand for horses 1 through 5 years old. Here, horses are presented in-hand and judged on conformation, followed by an at-liberty phase where they will demonstrate all three gates.

The second finals class is the always-exciting Jump Chute. Horses will free jump an age appropriate chute of up to three jumps. As each horse competes through the chute they will be judged on a series of criteria including scope and technique.

Tables of eight are available for reservation during the event at a cost of $25 per person. Open table seating is also available at the door for the same price. All table seating will include a light buffet and a glass of Moet Hennessey Champagne compliments of White Horse Tavern. A cash bar will also be available for all table patrons.

Free seating options will also be available at the International Arena to watch the event.
