 An extraordinary rule amendment (ERA) has been approved for incorporation in to the Rules of Equine Canada, Section C, Driving. This amendment will be effective immediately.

Article C935 Examinations and Inspections of Horses

2.) First Horse Inspection 
2.1) This must take place at all Events before the start of the first Competition. It must be performed under the direction of the president of the Ground Jury, together with at least one other member of the Ground Jury, the Veterinary Delegate and/or the President of the Veterinary Commission. See FEI Veterinary Regulations and Guidelines for OCs and Officials for details. At Canadian Bronze or Silver permit events, the requirement for the First Horse Inspection is at the option of the Organizer as published in the Prize list.
