The Equine Photographers Network Announces Results for Equine Ideal:
2013 Online Photo Contest

Hundreds of entries representing 13 countries and 44 states were entered in the tenth annual online equine photography contest sponsored by the Equine Photographers Network, making this the most competitive contest to date with an incredible array of outstanding equine images.

Professional and Amateur division winners were awarded first through sixth place as well as four honorable mentions in ten categories: Performance, Horses and Human Portrait, Horse and Human Bond, Head Study, Horse at Liberty, Extreme Action, Art, Details and Black and White.

Professional equine photographers Tony Stromberg, Leslie Heemsbergen, Shelley Paulson, Scott Trees and Bev Pettit presided as judges.

Best of Show Professional was awarded to:

"Children's Happiness' by Alexia Khrusheva of Russia
 

Best of Show Amateur was awarded to:

"An all out Burst of Speed" by Kathee Johnson of Arizona, USA
 

People's Choice Voting

Over 2400 votes were cast with the People’s Choice Professional going to “King of the Hill” by Patrick Brennan of Colorado and Amateur to “New Friends" by Terry Fitch of Texas.
