Fans can track Derby Favourite "Uncle Mo" progress on new website

Fans can now track Kentucky Derby favourite Uncle Mo thanks to the new UncleMo.com website launched Monday. The site includes news, upcoming and past race rewinds, photos, other media, and "Mo Gear" merchandise. Merchandise proceeds benefit owner Mike Repole's efforts to support Thoroughbred rescue, adoption, and retirement programs, Ed DeRosa of Thoroughbred Times reports.

Not only can you find great information about Uncle Mo, but the website also offers information on Mo's stablemate Stay Thirsty as well as contacts for their home farm Repole Stable.

The New York Racing Association teamed up with trainer Todd Pletcher and owner Mike Repole to offer fans a chance to enter a contest to become better acquainted with Mo himself, along with Pletcher and jockey John Velazquez at Pletcher's Belmont barn on April 7th, 2011. Entries are being accepted 29 March 2011 through 3 April 2011, so be sure to head to the contest entry page to get in on this once in a lifetime opportunity.
