Watch the London 2012 Olympic equestrian events online!

The global online community needn’t miss out on any of the Olympic equestrian action from Greenwich Park as extensive online coverage of the London 2012 Olympic equestrian events will be available to sports fans globally thanks to the national/regional rights-holding broadcasters.

European viewers will be able to enjoy wall-to-wall coverage via the new Olympic Eurovision Sports Live platform launched by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU).

The platform will offer a complete viewing experience including live simulcast feeds from EBU members, 12 live multi feeds with comprehensive coverage of most events available across the territory without commentary, a 24/7 Olympic News Channel with English commentary, as well as highlights clips per discipline with English commentary updated twice per day.

The service will be available to European audiences across all EBU territories, except for Italy where it will be geo-blocked (the list of EBU members is available at this link). The online schedule, along with the live broadcast URLs for the equestrian events, are listed in the attached document. All times are GMT.

Widespread equestrian coverage will also be provided by broadcasters such as NBC in the United States (equestrian broadcast schedule here), CBC in Canada (Olympic schedule here), and Nine Network in Australia (Olympic schedule here)

In June the International Olympic Committee (IOC) announced that it will live stream the London 2012 Olympic Games in 64 territories across Asia and Africa, including 42 Sub-Saharan African territories, on the IOC’s YouTube channel. Check out the detailshere.

We recommend that users in each country check the local listings for information about the broadcasts in their territory. The complete list of London 2012 broadcasters can be viewed here.

The FEI’s own online video platform FEI TV will be back on air before the end of the Olympic Games with broadcasts from the FEI World Dressage Championships for Young Horses in Verden (GER) and the FEI European Vaulting Championships for Juniors in Pezinok (SVK). Broadcasts from the FEI World Vaulting Championships in Le Mans (FRA) and the final leg of the FEI Nations Cup™ Top League in Dublin (IRL) will follow.
