Female Jockey Challenge Raises Money, Awareness for Breast Cancer

Six of the industry's leading female jockeys are gearing up for the first annual $30,000 Pimlico Female Jockey Challenge today, 20th May.
The competition is part of a combined effort between Pimlico and Susan G. Komen for the Cure called The People's Pink Party. The hope is to raise money and awareness for the fight against breast cancer.
Rosie Napravnik, who rode Pants on Fire to a ninth-place finish in the Kentucky Derby is the headliner of the challenge. She will ride alongside Vicky Baze, Forest Boyce, Chantal Sutherland, Hayley Turner, and Emma-Jane Watson in the quadruple race challenge, with the winner receiving $10,000.
