Tampa, FL -  The Florida Gold Coast Quarter Horse Show is pleased to welcome Katrina Coldren and The Clothes Horse as its newest sponsor for this year's competition. The Clothes Horse has been manufacturing custom-made horse blankets, tack room drapes, and trunk covers since 1972. Scheduled for December 27-31, 2012 at the Florida State Fairgrounds' Bob Thomas Equestrian Center in Tampa, FL, the Florida Gold Coast Quarter Horse Show features five full days of events including Hunters, Equitation, Reining, Western Pleasure, Trail Riding, Driving, Showmanship and Halter classes. This year, the show ends on the 31st to help exhibitors take advantage of the six shows needed to accumulate points before the end of the year for the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA).

"At The Clothes Horse, we provide high-end, quality products, and a high level of customer service working directly with me," explained Coldren. "It's about branding, like in any business. Your tack room display at the horse show can coordinate with the horse's clothes at the ring so people can connect that winning horse to your barn."

The Clothes Horse

The show clothes available for horses through The Clothes Horse include scrims, fly nets, anti-sweat sheets, wool dress sheets and coolers, rain wear, and saddle pads. Each item is custom designed to coordinate the customer's barn colors, logos, and any special linings that are desired. Stable sheets and blankets are also available, so that the horses are outfitted when they are in their stalls or at the ring.

The Clothes Horse also created custom tack room drapes. All walls, stall fronts, and doors include straight valance with your choice of trim colors and layout. The Clothes Horse can also create chairs, coolerettes, and personalized banner lettering to coordinate your setup. In addition to drapes, The Clothes Horse offers Tack Trunk Covers in all shapes and sizes, which can be designed exactly to the customer's specifications. Matching bags for bridles, saddles, boots, and other accessories can also be created.

The newest offering through The Clothes Horse is sportswear. "For the Florida Gold Coast Quarter Horse Show we are donating hats with logos on them," noted Coldren. "We now do sportswear for people so they can match their horses. We can create jackets, hats, shirts, and bags to coordinate the whole ensemble."

Coldren is very excited about The Clothes Horse's new partnership with the Florida Gold Coast Quarter Horse Show. "We have worked with the Morrissey family for over 20 years in the hunter/jumper world," she commented. "I have often though that the quarter horse world would also be a good fit for us. They have an image to portray and they use a lot of the same products. I enjoy working with the Morrissey family, so this seemed like the perfect fit for us to begin supporting the industry."
