Wellington, FL - The excitement is building in Wellington as the next generation of premium sport horses arrives for the WEF Sport Horse Auction to be held Thursday, February 28, at The Stadium at Palm Beach International Equestrian Center. Starting on Tuesday, February 19, eighteen of the finest progeny of the VDL Stud blood lines will be available for viewing.
For the second year, Equestrian Sport Productions is thrilled to present horses from VDL Stud, 2009 KWPN Breeder of the Year and home to some of the most talented show jumpers around the world. VDL Stud has produced a long list of champions winning at the highest levels including the Olympic Games, World Cup Finals, and World Equestrian Games.

Everton: Cardento/Nimmerdor/Athlet Z. Born 2009, Gelding

Eighteen young horses chosen for the high standards of the FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival audience will be arriving from the VDL Stud in Netherlands. Fourteen of the prospects are four year olds, and there are four young sport horses that are already successfully competing in Europe.

Presented in an exciting auction, it is a rare opportunity to view such an array of talent in one setting.

Everglades VDL: Ephepe For Ever/Chellano Z/Cassini I. Born 2006, Gelding

These fine VDL horses will be available for viewing at Ossian Ventures on February 19-24 from noon to 6 pm.

The repository is open to veterinarians who would like to inspect the radiographs and exam information on behalf of their clients on Tuesday, February 26, Wednesday, February 27, and Thursday, February 28, from 10 am to 5 pm at The Stadium.
On Tuesday, February 26, there will be a presentation of the auction horses under saddle and jumping, 3 pm at The Stadium.

White Sox: Indoctro/Nimmerdor/Pascha. Born 2003, Gelding.
Competing at 1.40m internationally.

On Wednesday, February 27, from 9 am- 5pm, the horses will be available for trials by appointment at Ossian Ventures. Please contact Mr. Janko van de Lageweg at 561-291-2709 or 01121651815225 to set up an appointment.
The live auction will be held at The Stadium at 7 pm on Thursday, February 28. Gates open at 6 pm.
