Initial medical assessment following Tim Stockdale's riding accident on October 17 indicated that he had fractured two vertebrae in his neck.
Earlier this week further examination revealed that an additional vertebra was injured.
According to a report in Horse and Hound, the damaged area includes C3, C4, and C5.
With six weeks of bed rest and physical therapy, he is expected to make a full recovery.
The most difficult part may be the bed-rest - he has already tweeted that he is bored!
