Lexington, KY - November 7, 2011 - Hagyard Equine Medical Institute in Lexington, Kentucky announced on Friday, November 4, 2011, that Dr. Andrew Clark, its CEO for the last six years, has decided to resign his position effective December 31, 2011. Dr Clark plans to pursue consulting opportunities in industry. He will continue his relationship with Hagyard in a consulting role.

Following Dr. Clark's announcement to doctors and staff at Hagyard, Dr. Stuart Brown, President of Hagyard Equine Medical Institute, thanked Dr. Clark for his service and stewardship of the practice during his tenure. Dr. Brown recognized Dr. Clark for the accomplishments achieved under his leadership. Dr. Brown also stated that Hagyard looks forward to working with Dr. Clark in his new role to continue to complement the various initiatives he has launched during his time as CEO.
