Extensive Coverage Planned For Hampton Classic Horse Show
HRTV to Broadcast $250,000 FTI Grand Prix
WVVH-TV to Present Live Broadcasts Each Day



Bridgehampton, NY—August 25, 2011—Fans of the Hampton Classic will be able to watch the excitement of this year’s horse show on two television outlets as HRTV and WVVH-TV are both offering broadcasts of the world-class equestrian competition.

The 36th annual Hampton Classic Horse Show returns to Bridgehampton, NY, August 28 – September 4 and is highlighted by the $250,000 FTI Grand Prix and FEI World Cup™ Qualifier on Sunday, September 4.

“We are thrilled that this year’s Hampton Classic Horse Show will be broadcast on both HRTV and WVVH-TV,” said Shanette Cohen, Executive Director of the Hampton Classic. “The Classic epitomizes world-class show jumping competition, and we want everybody nationwide to have a chance to experience it, whether it by joining us at the showgrounds or by watching from the comfort of home.”

For those who want to catch the excitement of Sunday’s $250,000 FTI Grand Prix and FEI World Cup™ Qualifier, HRTV will be adding the event to its equestrian television line-up. The $250,000 FTI Grand Prix broadcast will feature some of the world’s best horses and riders in their pursuit of winning one of the nation’s most coveted titles.

HRTV, The Network for Horse Sports, is a 24-hour, television-based multimedia network dedicated to a wide-range of world-class equestrian competitions from race tracks and English and Western horse sports arenas throughout the world HRTV also features original programming and award-winning documentaries covering a variety of racing and general equestrian topics. The live stream of HRTV is available on a subscription basis to high-speed Internet users worldwide at www.hrtvlive.com. The HRTV television network is presently available via cable, Telco video and satellite in more than 19 million U.S. homes. HRTV's Carolyn Conley will host the network's coverage.

Also bringing the Hampton Classic to television viewers will be WVVH-TV, the official Long Island television station of the Hampton Classic. As usual, WVVH-TV will be providing over 40 hours of coverage including live coverage of Grand Prix Sunday with a repeat broadcast primetime that evening (September 4).

WVVH-TV will again activate its permanent Lightpath fiber optic link between the Bridgehampton Hampton Classic Show Grounds and the WVVH-TV studios in Wainscott, New York to bring the excitement of the Hampton Classic live in digital quality to WVVH-TV’s viewers, an unprecedented commitment for coverage of a live sports event by a New York television station.

WVVH-TV, a broadcast partner of the Hampton Classic Horse Show since 1996, will provide live coverage from 1:00-5:00 pm daily. Nightly specials will recap each day’s activities from 8:00-10:00 pm. The WVVH broadcasts can also be seen online at www.wvvh.tv.

The HRTV Grand Prix telecast will be produced by Carr-Hughes Productions, an independent producer of sporting and special events for major television networks worldwide, whose credits include previous Hampton Classic telecasts, the Olympic Games, the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event, the FEI World Cup Finals and the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games.
