A driver in North Carolina has been arrested for hitting and killing a horse, and for injuring two riders.  The driver did not stop at the accident scene.

Fox News Charlotte reports that a man named Timothy Hardin has been charged with with felony offenses both for the accident and for driving without a license.

According to an AP report, the two riders were returning from Walmart when they stopped to visit with friends on the road.  The hit-run driver not only hit the horse and riders, but also the vehicle in which their friends were sitting.  The accident left debris from the hit-run drivers' vehicle on the road.

The riders were taken to an area hospital for treatment.

I hope the riders recover and go after that driver. I say people today are in a rush to go no where, and don't care about other people. If they think they can get away with a crime like this: It should be put on the news and his name to be plastered all over. What an idiot he should have his balls removed.
