THERMAL, CA  - The prize list for the six week 2012 HITS  Desert Circuit has been mailed and is now available online. This year’s Desert Circuit will be highlighted by a host of qualifying opportunities for the three richest hunter/jumper classes in the nation.
The third annual $1 Million Grand Prix has attracted world-wide attention since its debut in 2010 with top caliber talent from around the world traveling to HITS Thermal each season in order to qualify. This year, HITS Thermal will host 16 qualifying Grand Prix, including four CSI 2-W FEI World Cup Grand Prix during DC II, III, IV and V, and the mega $200,000 Lamborghini Grand Prix, presented by Lamborghini of Newport Beach on Sunday, March 11.

At HITS Thermal, six Devoucoux Hunter Prix qualifiers await, which include the $25,000 Devoucoux Hunter Prix on Sunday, March 11 as Hunter riders plan to once again qualify for the world’s richest Hunter class. Professional, junior and amateur went to bat for ribbons last year as Nick Haness of Coto de Caza, California, a regular competitor at HITS Thermal took home the second place honors and $90,000 in prize money behind winner Samantha Schaefer.

In addition to the richest Hunter Prix in America, HITS is proud to introduce the $250,000 HITS 3’ Hunter Prix as part of America’s richest show jumping weekend. HITS Thermal will host six qualifiers for the inaugural event, which is scheduled to accompany the $1 million and $500,000 classes September 8-9, 2012.

The demand for additional stabling each year at HITS Thermal is a testament to the popularity and growth of one of the most prestigious show jumping circuits in America. This year, HITS has added more permanent stabling options for exhibitors as well tent stabling. Circuit discounts and special rates are available for weekly, half circuit and full circuit options.

The excitement for HITS Thermal continues to grow as new and exciting improvements and opportunities are constantly being made to enhance the circuit. A new open jumper schedule, which includes a $5,000 Level 8 class on Wednesdays has already created buzz on the West Coast.
