SmartPak returns to sponsor 2012 HITS Show Season and
20 qualifying Grand Prix for the Pfizer Million

SAUGERTIES, NY — HITS, Inc. is pleased to announce that SmartPak, makers of simplified solutions for equine supplements and medications, will sponsor show circuits and qualifiers for the Pfizer $1 Million Grand Prix in Thermal, California, Ocala, Florida and Saugerties, New York.

At the HITS Ocala Winter Circuit the weekly $25,000 SmartPak Grand Prix, presented by Pfizer Animal Health, will highlight competition on Thursdays as a prelude to the $50,000 Grand Prix on Sundays. At the HITS Desert Circuit in Thermal, California, the first of six weekly Grand Prix sponsored by SmartPak will take place this Friday with the $25,000 SmartPak Grand Prix, presented by Pfizer Animal Health. During World Cup Weeks – DC II, III, IV and V – the SmartPak Grand Prix will take place on Sundays with a $30,000 purse. During DC VI the $25,000 SmartPak Grand Prix will be the warm-up for the season finale $200,000 Lamborghini Grand Prix, presented by Lamborghini of Newport Beach.

SmartPak will also sponsor this season’s First and Second Half Circuit Awards for the HITS Desert Circuit, crowning champions in more than 200 divisions!

In the spring and summer, SmartPak will sponsor the Friday $25,000 Grand Prix at the eight-week HITS-on-the-Hudson Show Series in Saugerties, New York. “The weekly $25,000 SmartPak Grand Prix always have a great turn out and we are very appreciative for SmartPak’s support of these key qualifying events,” said Lisa Engel, Corporate Sponsorship for HITS, Inc.

In addition to sponsoring 20 qualifying Grand Prix for this year’s Pfizer Million, SmartPak will also bring its popular on-site SmartPak Delivery Place to the HITS Desert Circuit and the HITS Ocala Winter Circuit. The 2012 HITS Ocala Winter Circuit began January 18 with two unrated weeks of competition, followed by seven consecutive weeks of A and AA rated competition from January 31 through March 18. Out west, the HITS Desert Circuit will get underway on Tuesday, January 24 and will run for three consecutive weeks until Sunday, February 12. After a short break, February 13 - 19, show jumping returns on Tuesday, February 21 and will continue until Sunday, March 11. The HITS Arizona Winter Circuit will also run six consecutive weeks of AA rated competition from February 1 through March 11.
