Free Evening Performance —“Chris Cox and Friends”
— at Horse Expo Pomona

World-class horseman, trainer and competitor Chris Cox will headline Horse Expo Pomona, Thursday, January 31^st – Saturday, February 2^nd, 2013 at the Fairplex in Pomona, California. Chris is the “people’s choice” for the event, and the Expo is pleased to announce that Chris will wind his way from Texas to California to entertain and educate the Expo crowds.

Equally exciting is the February 1^st, Friday evening performance — “Chris Cox and Friends” — which is FREE with Friday admission. The fun show will start at 6:30 p.m. and will feature a rollercoaster list of “friends,” including a high-energy presentation by an Australian who uses horse training methods for his cow dogs. What a hoot!

A dramatic 20-horse presentation by the Fiesta of the Spanish Horse will have you cheering during this free evening gala. The California Cowgirls, with their sparkles, glitter and American flags a-flying, will perform their beautifully-executed drill team maneuvers to powerful patriotic music. It’s a vision that brings tears to even the most stoic cowboys…

The evening will continue with a wheelbarrow full of surprises, which might even include Chris in a top hat and breeches riding high-level dressage — not such a tough assignment for Chris, since his riding skills are magnificent (have you watched the introduction of his television show where he sits an exquisite dressage seat in a western saddle?).  

The three-day Horse Expo Pomona promises a variety of events, vendors, educational presentations, demonstrations and so much more. If you choose to attend the Expo on Friday, February 1, you’ll have the opportunity to watch the free “Chris Cox and Friends” evening performance starting at 6:30 p.m. Load up on caramel corn, grab a seat, and enjoy the FREE show!

Hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day, and Horse Expo Pomona tickets are available on-line or at the gate. Be sure to grab Expo Bucks ($3 value) at your local tack, western or feed store. Tickets are $18 (only $15 with Expo Bucks) per day, $12 for seniors on Thursday, $45 for a three-day ticket, $10 for kids 7-13, and ages 6 and under are free.
