A South Carolina man convicted of 'buggery' with a horse has been released from prison on probation.

Rodell Vereen, who had already been convicted and released on probation in 2007, was caught by the barn owner again in 2009 for molesting a 21-year-old mare.

He has served 18 months of a five-year prison sentence and he must complete two years of probation or he will have to return to jail to finish serving his five-year term.

Fox News quoted an AP story saying that Vereen was a schizophrenic and had not been taking his medications when he committed the crime.
