Horse Owners Warned to Prepare for Hendra Season

The season for infection of Hendra virus is quickly approaching, and the Australian Veterinary Association warns horse owners to take precautions against it.
Hendra virus was initially discovered in 1994 in Queensland, and has primarily stayed in Queensland over time. The virus can be passed to humans, and has proven fatal numerous times.
