Eventing - Turner Names Irish Team for Boekelo Eventing

HORSE Sport Ireland's Eventing High Performance Manager Nick Turner has named the Irish Eventing team for the Nations’ Cup in Boekelo in the Netherlands which runs from from October 10th to 13th.

The team in alphabetical order is:

Sarah Ennis/Stellor Rebound
Austin O'Connor/Balham Houdini
Katie O'Sullivan/Cooley Blue Flame
Camilla Speirs/Portersize Just a Jif

Nick Turner said this morning (Friday): "While we have not targeted the Nations’ Cup league this year the opportunity to compete at Aachen in June was really worthwhile.

“Boekelo is a good opportunity for us to work with some up and coming combinations who are moving up the ranks. It is also great to see Portersize Just a Jif and Camilla back in international competition. Overall, I expect it to be a good platform for next year," he explained.
