SPLAINE NAMES SQUAD FOR AGA KHAN CUP AT DUBLIN HORSE SHOW

TEAM Ireland Equestrian's show jumping manager Robert Splaine has confirmed his squad for the Aga Khan Trophy competition at the Discover Ireland Dublin Horse Show next Friday.

The last in the 2012 series of the FEI Superleague Nations' Cup, a top class performance in Dublin is needed to ensure that Ireland remains amongst the world's top eight teams for next year.

The squad selected by Splaine includes Olympic Bronze Medallist Cian O'Connor, as well as Ireland's other Olympic rider Billy Twomey, and is, in alphabetical order:

Darragh Kerins - Lisona (ISH)
Clem McMahon - Pacino
Richie Moloney - Ahorn Van De Zuuthoeve
Cian O'Connor - Blue Loyd 12
Billy Twomey - Je t'Aime Flamenco

Splaine will select his team of four after the first two days of competition at the Dublin show.
