Horses Shot and Killed in Mississippi

Two horses died and one was wounded in a shooting in Clarksdale, Mississippi on February 29th.

One horse was already dead, but the second one was horribly injured when owner Caroline Davis found them in the morning.  The second animal had suffered for some time before he was humanely euthanized.  

A third horse was also shot, but will survive after the bullet was removed.

The local sheriff is seeking information and Davis is setting up a reward.  The crime is a felony.
