Berry College Rider Lynn Cherry Wins Big With New Like #5,000 On Intercollegiate Horse Show Association Facebook Page

Fairfield, Connecticut (June 13, 2011) It has been a very Berry College season. At the Kentucky Horse Park in May, the Mount Berry, Georgia college Vikings rode to their first Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) Western Team National Championship in its 32-year history.

Berry College Class of 2012’s Lynn Cherry, of San Francisco, California, was also riding the social media highway when she became the official Intercollegiate Horse Show Association Facebook page’s 5,000th new Like, winning its “First to Reach 5,000” contest held during the IHSA National Championships.

Cherry, who rides Advanced Walk-Trot/Canter for the hunter seat team, and Beginning Horsemanship for the western team, won prizes generously provided by Bernie Traurig of EquestrianCoach.com (a one-year subscription to its video training), and Vicki Dallas of IPPOS International, Inc. (a sleek paquette bag).

“I sure did enjoy Nationals!” said a jubilant Cherry.
