KENTUCKY HORSE PARK CLOSED FOR CHRISTMAS/NEW YEAR HOLIDAYS
Park Will Be Open Regular Schedule In Between Holidays

 

LEXINGTON, KY -  The Kentucky Horse Park will be closed on Christmas Eve and Day, Monday and Tuesday, December 24 and 25, 2012 and again on New Year’s Eve and Day, Monday and Tuesday, December 30, 2012 and January 1, 2013.  The park is normally closed on Mondays and Tuesdays during the winter season, so there will be no disruption to the park’s regular operating schedule in 2012.  The park will be open Wednesday through Sunday, December 26 – 30, 2012 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and will reopen with this same regular schedule on Wednesday, January 2, 2013.

 

The special holiday driving event, Southern Lights, is OPEN every night from now until December 31, 2012 from 5:30 to 10:00 pm.  The additional “inside” activities are open only through Sunday, December 23.  The 3-mile lighted drive will be the only attraction offered from December 24 to 31.  The cost is $20.00 per car on December 21 and 22, but will then be $15.00 every night until December 31.

 

The Kentucky Horse Park’s Bit & Bridle Restaurant will be closed for Christmas week and will reopen Wednesday, January 2, 2013.  The park’s Farmhouse restaurant is now closed and will be reopen Monday, January 7, 2013.
