A man in Michigan has been charged with three felonies after he stabbed and killed two horses.
Dennis Ward Finkler, 47, had an argument with his wife at the boarding stable where they kept their horse. Finkler left, then later returned and stabbed the horses, one of which belonged to the couple, and the second belonged to the stable owner with whom he accused his wife of having an affair.
The charges include two counts of cruelty to animals and one of malicious destruction of property.
Finkler was released on $3,000 bail. He is scheduled to return to court on February 28.
